Clinoptilolite, active natural mineral
Zeolites are minerals of volcanic origin, which are formed by the meeting of incandescent lava and briny seawater. They are bountiful and found in large deposits (quarries or mines) The mineral coming from a mine, as ours does, is obviously more pure, in that over the centuries it has not undergone contamination from harmful substances, as is the case of minerals extracted from quarries.
Zeolites are natural minerals with a microporous structure, made up of thousands of micro channels capable of binding with significant amounts of toxins and substances harmful to the health (free radicals, nitrosamines, ammonia, mycotoxins, pesticides, heavy metals and radioactive cations).
Clinoptilolite subjected to Activation
What is meant by activation is a special micronisation process of the clinoptilolite zeolites, which are then brought up to a high temperature and then scrubbed of dust, so as to increase its effectiveness.
Indeed, in the case of solids (in our case clinoptilolite) characterised by their ability to bind toxic substances to their surfaces, when their porosity or surface area is increased through the reduction of the particle volumes, the number of channels capable of binding toxic substances is notably increased.
